Dr. Adele Nightingale is an Associate Professor in Health professions Education in the Institute of Medical Education at the University of Leeds. She has a substantial experience of leading teams in the National Health Service (NHS) UK as both an Operating Theatre Manager, and more recently as Principal Educator, leading a multi professional teams of educators. Adele has led several healthcare professional teams and programmes in Higher Education Institutes across the north of England. She brings an extensive portfolio of teaching, learning and assessment on undergraduate and post graduate programmes where she has influenced curriculum design and delivery. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. In her career Adele has held roles as a lecturer, senior lecturer, principal lecturer and Associate Dean thus demonstrating a sustained career in health professions education. In her current position as the institute lead for research and scholarship, she has recently led projects to identify research priorities using Delphi Study methodology and received Impact Acceleration Award funding to create a collaborative approach to health professions research with NHS Trust partners. Adele is a PhD supervisor on an international project with nursing colleagues in Sri Lanka and also supports doctoral candidates as a supervisor and acts as an external examiner on PhD viva panels. She is an external examiner for Professional Doctorate programme at the University of Gloucestershire. Adele is an active member of the Faculty Ethics Committee and Health and Conduct Committee. An Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) by profession, Adele has undertaken research to explore the experiences and perceptions of leadership in the NHS. The findings from this study related to patient safety, professional identity of practitioners and how to create a psychologically safe environment. These findings have been disseminated widely at conferences and also nationally influenced pre-registration learners via NHSE webinar series. Adele co leads a Research and Innovation Community of Practice, an initiative that was created to support a positive research culture within the ODP profession. This led to two recent collaborative publications which identified research priorities for the ODP profession and another which evaluated undergraduate pre-registration research teaching provision. Both these publications will be used to influence the ODP national curriculum and professional research strategy. As a member of the College of Operating Department Practitioners, Adele represents the College as professional member at the Community of Allied Health Professions Research, which delivers activities aimed at building research capacity and capability for all allied health professionals.

Samantha is a senior nursing leader with deep critical care roots and regional operational experience across large, complex health systems. Doctorally prepared (DNP) with NEA BC certification, she has led ICU, oncology, and enterprise level programs, managed large multidisciplinary teams and budgets, and launched high acuity clinical initiatives. Known for data driven decision making, evidence based practice, and strengthening quality, safety, and regulatory performance at scale.

Joy Anyula, RN, BSN, AG‑CNS Candidate, is an emerging Adult‑Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist and global nurse leader with more than a decade of diverse clinical experience across Africa and the United States. Her practice background spans community and public health, maternal and child health, HIV care, medical‑surgical nursing, nephrology, neurology, and long‑term care experience that grounds her CNS perspective in both resource‑limited environments and high‑acuity health systems. Originally from Kenya, Joy is deeply committed to advancing health equity, shared decision‑making, and dignified, person‑centered care for aging and vulnerable populations. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing as an Adult‑Gerontology CNS, integrating advanced clinical expertise with systems‑level thinking to improve outcomes, strengthen interprofessional collaboration, and champion evidence‑based practice. She also holds a Harvard University certificate in AI in Healthcare: Strategy to Implementation, reflecting her dedication to ethical, nurse‑led innovation and the responsible integration of technology into clinical care. Joy is the founder of Nurse Arise, a mentorship and digital education platform supporting the next generation of nurses, and I Am Not Ashamed (iANA), a community organization focused on youth development, menstrual equity through ending period poverty program, education access, and healthy aging. She also serves on the NextGen Committee of the National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists (NACNS), contributing to national conversations on CNS leadership, professional development, and the future of advanced practice nursing.

Shavone Lurie Anglee Brennen is a Registered Nurse and Midwife from The Bahamas, currently serving as Secretary General of the Bahamas Nurses Union. A proud alumna of the University of The Bahamas, she has dedicated her career to advancing women’s health, public health policy, and principled leadership in nursing. Her professional journey spans clinical service across Family Island clinics, national health programs, and international advocacy. She has contributed to global nursing networks including the Global Community of Practice for Nursing and Midwifery, Nursing Now Challenge, and the Global Strategic Directions for Nursing and Midwifery Bahamas Group. In 2024, she submitted her first report to the International Labour Organization Supervisory Mechanism for Workers Group, underscoring her commitment to labor rights and governance. Shavone is also the founder of Bahamas Nurses Rock, a national forum for professional empowerment, and has earned certifications in Employment Law, Industrial Tribunal Procedures, and Women in Political Democracy. She is currently pursuing advanced studies in Corporate Governance, Public Policy, and Industrial and Employment Relations. Her work reflects a passion for legacy building, advocacy, and mentoring the next generation of healthcare leaders, with a vision to strengthen nursing’s role in shaping health systems globally.

Dr. Imose Itua is an Assistant Professor at the University of Bradford. She recently led the curriculum development for the West Yorkshire Enhance Programme sponsored by NHS England and was previously the programme leader for the BSc Public Health and Community Wellbeing programme at the University of Bradford. She is currently the Chair of the Faculty of Health Studies Assembly and the School lead for Interprofessional Education. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health UK, a Senior Fellow of the Advanced Higher Education Academy and an associate member of the Faculty of Public Health, UK. She is an independent chair for PhD Viva at the University of Bradford. In addition to her role at the University, she is a family planning teacher for the Natural Family Planning Teachers Association and a member of the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. Dr. Itua has extensive experience in teaching, leadership, curriculum development, mentoring and research. She serves on the university ethics committee. She is an assessor for the UK Public Health register and a PhD/Phil/MPhil Examiner and Independent Chair. Prior to joining the University of Bradford, Dr Itua was the programme lead for two postgraduate programmes at Arden University; Master of Public Health and MSc Global Health Management. Within that role, she developed two Master’s programmes from initiation to implementation of the programmes, and she led the University to validation and accreditation by Agency for Public Health Education accreditation and Chartered Management Institute, UK respectively. She is an external examiner for MSc/PgDip/PgCert in Integrated healthcare practice and strategic leadership at the University of Bedfordshire. Dr. Itua completed her PhD studies in Medicine (specifically cardiovascular science) in 2003 at the University of Manchester. Her current research interests include fertility and reproductive health, and breast cancer awareness in minority ethnic women. She is also interested interprofessional education research and is a member of the Centre for Advancement of Interprofessional Education (CAIPE). She is currently leading research in reproductive health and collaborative practice as well as developing research in the area of breast screening awareness in minority ethnic groups.

Audiology coordinator at AUDIOCENTER SPAIN Ángel Barbero began his training at the University of Alicante and in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid), complementing it with postgraduate courses at the University of Santiago de Compostela and the Complutense University of Madrid. He also graduated from the Escuela del Clot (Barcelona) and has participated as a speaker in numerous international conferences (Rio de Janeiro, Dubai, Santo Domingo, etc. in the last year). He is currently Coordinator of Audiology in Seville (Spain) where he resides and has numerous articles on audiology published in national and international health journals.

Tiago Teofilo is a registered nurse and doctoral researcher in Nursing Sciences at the University of Porto (ICBAS), Portugal, with the doctoral degree to be awarded in June 2026. He holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Medicine from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (top 5 postgraduate program ratings in Brazil) and has extensive professional experience in clinical nursing, gerontological nursing, and dermatological nursing, with practice in hospital settings, as well as in primary care and community health contexts. He currently works as a nurse at the University Hospital Lauro Wanderley (HULW), Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB). His professional trajectory also includes roles in health services management, nursing coordination, preceptorship, and academic teaching, particularly in primary care and multiprofessional residency programs. His academic work focuses on empathy, holistic and humanistic care, public health, and the education of health professionals, grounded in Jean Watson’s Theory of Human Caring and interdisciplinary philosophical perspectives. He has authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed publications in international nursing and public health journals, including journals with impact factors above 1.0. He serves as a peer reviewer for Nursing Ethics (Impact Factor ~2.7), SAGE Open Nursing (Impact Factor ~2.5), the Journal of Patient Experience (Impact Factor ~1.8), and the Revista de Saúde Pública, University of São Paulo (Impact Factor ~2.0). Tiago currently serves on the Executive Board of the Associação Brasileira de Enfermagem – Paraíba Section (ABEn-PB) as Director for the Development of Nursing Practices. The ABEn is Brazil’s leading scientific nursing association, with over 100 years of history. His work has been recognized with national academic awards, including the Victor Vicent Valla First Prize (Rede UNIDA) and a First-Place Undergraduate Scientific Initiation Award.

Murad Abdul Raheem Younis is a PhD holder in Public health & Epidemiology from Unit Biostatistics & Research Methodology, School of Medical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Younis does research in Oncology, Epidemiology and Public Health. I have been working as staff nurse for the last several years as a teacher/facilitator . Previously, I have worked for several years with the Jordan Ministry of Health (JMOH) and University of Jordan faculty of nursing. My role was as a clinical instructor and continues education department at the al-basheer Hospital. I had experience in Public Health Department in University of Tabuk as lecturer for diploma and postgraduate program. Now a day I am assistant professor in Jerash University in Faculty of Nursing in Community mental health Department.

Dr. Darina is a dedicated medical professional with over two decades of experience in internal medicine and cardiology. She earned her medical degree from Jessenius Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University in Martin, Slovakia in 1999. Following her graduation, she pursued advanced training and achieved specialization in Internal Medicine in 2005 in Prague, Czech Republic. Continuing her professional journey, she completed her board certification in Cardiology in 2011 in Bratislava, Slovakia, further deepening her expertise in cardiovascular care. Driven by a passion for combining clinical medicine with physical performance, Dr. Darina most recently completed her specialization in Sports Medicine in 2025 in Prague. Her clinical interests lie in sports medicine, sports cardiology, and echosonography, where she integrates advanced imaging techniques with patient-centered care for athletes and active individuals. Her multidisciplinary approach aims to enhance health, performance, and long-term well-being through evidence-based practices in both preventive and diagnostic cardiology.

Dr. Nasibeh Zanjirani Farahani is translational AI scientist, researcher and a systems engineer at Mayo Clinic, where she serves as Assistant Professor of Medicine and manager with the Mayo Clinic Platform. Her work focuses on designing and implementing machine learning, natural language processing, and generative AI solutions that support clinical decision-making and improve healthcare delivery. She has contributed to advances in early diagnosis, hospital operations, and data-driven care. A leader in ethical and equitable AI, she promotes innovation that prioritizes fairness, trust, and inclusion.

In 2005, after training in a high-altitude running camp in Kenya, Scout developed a deep admiration for the people and culture. That experience alone shaped her desire to work and serve in low- and middle-income countries. She has been afforded to travel to Asia, South America, Africa, and Cuba to work as a nurse. After working for One4AnotherInternational as a nurse and photographer in Uganda, Scout helped open what is now the Sweethaven school for children who had lost their parents to HIV. Presently, she serves in the quality and safety realm as a nursing professional development specialist. Scout continues to serve her local community and keep on her journey of connection and opportunities in the global nursing domain.

Carla Indianara Bonetti, a Brazilian national born on June 30, 1995, in Missal, Paraná, holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Universidade Paranaense (UNIPAR). She also earned a Specialist degree in Human Anatomy and Histology from the State University of Maringá (UEM), along with a Master’s and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, specializing in Biologically Active Natural and Synthetic Products, from the same university. Dr. Bonetti has extensive experience working in a phytochemistry laboratory, where she was involved in phytochemical screening, extract production, and antimicrobial and antifungal activity assays. Additionally, she has participated in clinical studies focusing on cardiovascular assessment and inflammation mediators. Her research expertise encompasses pharmacology of the inflammatory response, hepatic metabolism, and energy metabolism.
